The reason I don't use motor flush is this; I would rather the sludge stay put. Sometimes the flush will take off a few small pieces and then as they are moving along they know off bigger pieces. They can plug up oil passages and galleys. I would rather leave it stuck where its at. I have had a few vehicles come into my shop with the oil pump pick up screen plugged up. If you ask the customer about engine flush they are always the ones who use it "every change" thinking they are doing a good thing. I would recommend not using any flush and just make sure you change your oil at the regularly scheduled intervals. I change all mine every 3 months in all my vehicles.
