strange noise after clutch + flywheel removal
 

Hey @all,

i bought a exedy clutch kit stage 1 for evo 8 MK04H601 and a flywheel which looks like not oem but ebay sold as it.

now i have strange fluddering noise, best to listen at 5fth gear 2500rpm and food off throttle. Its a vibration and sound like some lose heat shield of downpipe, but all things are tighten.

any experiences like that with evo clutch or no oem flywheel?

Я в свое время менять комплект сцепления на оригинал, все нормально. Советую тоже. Мой плохо знать английский. Сожалею.

You replaced your oem clutch to an aftermarket and everything was fine?

Lieber Stefan! Wir mussten einen Kit Evo-8-9 Exedy MBK 2084 und MD 373 136 Schwungrad und alles gut werden würde kaufen.

yes i replaced the old flywheel against this http://www.ebay.de/itm/MITSUBISHI-LA...ht_1584wt_1346

ebay says oem but its not. because of that i thought its not as good balanced as oem flywheel form MMC. My garage said that aftermarket flywheel can be the cause of that vibrations... so i dont know if i should buy a new one...

a friend of mine got the same clutch kit exedy stage 1 in his evo8 also with new oem flywheel and he has no vibrations/noises....

hey guys,

i found a vid on youtube on a Eclipse after twinclutch install, which got exactly the same noises/vibrations as i with my stage 1 organic clutch. its only when in gear on deceleration...

i cant believe that this noises are normal?!?

If you don't believe the noise is normal, then are you sure it was installed properly? How long do you have this new clutch?

Hi,

i think that the clutch installation of my garage was properly(but i havent seen it), beacause of they are specialists for evo/Mitsubishi tuning. I have the clutch installed since a week
