yesyes, спасибо конечно, но про кольцо я в курсе ) Стекло оригинал. Когда я снимал датчик я осмотрел посадочное место - официалы все сделали как положено. Тем более бывает, что датчик начинает реагировать на дождь нормально, но чаще молчит, как партизан. Я в таком случае кольцо чувствительности вперед-назад погоняю раз 5 - типа адаптирую датчик - вроде адекватнее становится. И так постоянно - как-то подзатрахало - на предыдущих авто датчика не было - вспоминаю ту пору со слезами - как жешь удобно то с паузой ручной было...( Вот поэтому и есть желание поменять переключатель

Почитал сервис мануал на досуге.



Нашел там в разделе 51 -EXTERIOR > WINDSHIELD WIPER AND WASHER > ON-VEHICLE SERVICE > LIGHTING CONTROL SENSOR >
LIGHTING CONTROL SENSOR (RAIN SENSOR) ADAPTATION
следующие слова:

LIGHTING CONTROL SENSOR INSTALLATION

caution: After executing the lighting control sensor (rain sensor) adaptation, do not touch the lighting control sensor (or do not move it from the fixed position).

-Mount the lighting control sensor onto the optical coupler, and then connect the connector.

- when the lighting control sensor is pushed to check the installation condition, install the connector and the lighting control sensor cover and wipe the windshield thoroughly. When the windshield is dry, execute the lighting control sensor (rain sensor) adaptation. <Refer to GROUP 51 - Lighting Control Sensor (Rain Sensor) Adaptation >.

note: Be careful not to touch the lighting control sensor receiver. (The lighting control sensor receiver has limited resistance to oil.)

Что вкратце говорит - после снятия \ установки датчика - требуется калибровать датчик с помощью дилерского сканера MUT-III:

1.caution
Before performing the adaptation, check if the lighting control sensor (rain sensor)-related diagnosis code is set. (if set, refer to GROUP 54A, HEADLAMP DIAGNOSIS CODE CHART ).
Turn the wiper switch to the OFF position.
2.Clean the windshield in fine weather.
3.Wipe the surface of the windshield thoroughly, and check that the surface is dry.
4.Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
5.Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK (OFF) position.
6.caution Before connecting or disconnecting M.U.T.-III, always turn the ignition switch to the LOCK (OFF) position.
Сonnect the M.U.T.-III to the diagnosis connector.
7.Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
8.Wipe the windshield surface of the lighting control sensor section thoroughly, and check that the surface is dry.
9.Select "LIN" on the "System Select" screen, and press the "OK" button.
10.Select "Rain light sensor" on the "System Select" screen, and press the "OK" button.
11.Select "Special Function" on the "Rain light sensor" screen.
12.Select "Rain Sensor Adaptation" on the "Special Function" screen.
13.Press the "OK" button, and execute the "Rain Sensor Adaptation."
14.Press the "OK" button after the execution screen is displayed.
15.Press the "OK" button after "Completed" is displayed.

ИТОГО: получается, что если датчик трогал\сниал - надо калибровать. И замена стекла с датчиком дождя становится более затратной процедурой. Думаю что официалы эту операцию делают, а вот "вася-гараж" как минимум без оборудования и не в теме. С другой стороны.... может не у всех так глобально при смене в "вася-гараж" невезет... И в первую очередь это просто зависит от стекла\качества изготовления.
